WebCC Cleaner is a crapware. Uninstall it once and never use it again. This piece of software can mess so many things in your system that it will be easier to do a clean install of windows after it was "cleaned up". I have been using CCleaner for yers and years. I run it weekly. Sounds to me that you had some entirely other problems with you Windows. WebMar 11, 2024 · 1. Start CCleaner. 2. Click: Options > Smart Cleaning, and then disable/untick items in there. There's an outdated help documentation detailing it better.
